Montchavin les Coches 1250-1450m
Montchavin Les Coches is located in the Tarentaise range, on the edge of the Vanoise National Park. The resort, which adjoins La Plagne's vast ski area, stands in an immense clearing, looking across to Mont Blanc.
This winter, Montchavin les Coches are on the heart of Paradiski (La Plagne + Les Arcs) with the Vanoise-Express cable car between Peisey-Vallandry and Montchavin les Coches.
The resort consists of two "ski-all-the-way" villages: - Montchavin is a traditional, old village with pretty wood chalets and narrow streets, - Les Coches is a recent development which nevertheless preserves all the charm of mountain architecture and an easy-going lifestyle.
La Plagne boasts Europe's largest ski area. Montchavin Les Coches connects directly La Plagne's ski area, with 220 kilometres of runs and 2,000 metres vertical drop (1,250 to 3,250 metres), 108 lifts and more of 90 snow cannon to ensure that you can always ski all the way back to the resort. The Montchavin les Coches lift pass entitles you to ski on the imediate proximity of the resort, from 1250 to 2400 m
